ITR Appoints New VP of Development

Dec 18, 2006

TORONTO - ITR is pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Campbell to the position of Vice President of Development. In his new role Ian will be responsible for the strategic direction of the company's software, leading a team of developers to take ITR's advanced workforce management systems to the next level.

Ian brings over 30 years of experience in software to his new role, including over eight years of experience in research and development specifically in workforce management. He began his career in the time and attendance industry as Director of Product Development at ABI?TruTrac Inc. and went on to become Vice President of Development and Technology at CyberShift, Inc. Most recently he was Director of a .NET development project for Workbrain, Inc.

"We are thrilled to have someone with Ian's proven abilities and wealth of development skills join our team," said ITR CEO Tracy Parzych. "This is an exciting time for ITR as we are poised, with Ian's development leadership, to expand our offering both in terms of functionality and to an ever-widening audience."

Ian entered the software business as operating system specialist for the Hewlett Packard Company in Canada, eventually relocating to HP's software development labs in Cupertino California. In the mid-eighties, Ian launched and took his own software company public. This company eventually went on to become Delrina Corporation, a recognized name today. He then headed up a second start-up software company during the early nineties that developed a system for the radio-location of lost children at theme parks and public attractions.

Over the years, Ian has worked with a host of development environments and languages from several assemblers to Pascal (Delphi) to C# to Java to J2EE to .NET.
