Access Control – Readers

The PRX-20 and PRX-25 are elegant proximity readers with a reading range of 5-10 cm. These units are suitable for a wide range of proximity reader based systems, such as Access Control and Time & Attendance. These readers are waterproof and therefore suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

This indoor proximity reader combined with a keypad was developed as a perfect, easy-to-use proximity device to be installed at locations where Time & Attendance or Access terminals require a secure primary or secondary reader.  The PRX-30 provides a 10 cm reading distance and with magnetic or barcode emulation, connection to terminals is easy.  The unit also features a bell button which enables non-cardholders to call for remote door opening.

This combines a proximity reader with a keypad has a bell button (allows non-cardholders to call for remote door opening), one input and one output.  The unit can be connected directly to the Master Controller or can be used as a stand-alone door controller.  The PRX-40/A has the ability to store badge information for up to 250 employees.

The PRintX is a biometric fingerprint reader offering personal recognition for maximum security requirements.  The unit stores up to 9,000 fingerscan templates and provides verification and identification in less than a second.  Fingerscan templates may be stored on Smart Cards for added privacy, and enrollment can be done using the SY-400/A device connected to a PC.

The SY-1 reader provides a convenient means of adding a second reader to a Time & Attendance or Access Control system. This weatherproof device is suitable for outdoor use and has a robust, anti-vandalism case.

The SY-10 combines a magnetic or barcode reader with a keypad for pin entry.  This device can be connected to terminals such as: Access III, SY-400/A and ITR-785. The SY-10 does not decode badges but transfers the signal to the controller for decoding in RS-422 transmission format, in a range of up to 300 meters.

The SY-11 unit combines a magnetic or barcode reader with a keypad for pin entry and features a bell button, one input and one output. A compact, easy-to-use and install unit, the SY-11 guarantees secure access to sensitive locations. The device can be installed just about anywhere as a stand-alone, magnetic or barcode terminal and is capable of storing badge information for up to 250 employees.

The IBC weatherproof reader is suitable for outdoor use in even the harshest climates. This long range reader is capable of reading any barcode format (3 of 9, etc.) and can transmit up to 100 meters via wand emulation communication.

The PRX-60/S has a long distance reading range of 45 to 60 cm and provides unprecedented reading speed.  The device is constructed with a waterproof case making it ideal for outdoor use.

The PRX-100 is a compact, easy-to-install proximity reader with a long range reading distance of 3 to 15 meters and 200 meter transmit distance. This reader can connect to the Access III, Access IV or SY-400/A controller.
